Cooking Preparations
Ingredients: (White Rice, Onion, Garlic, Coconut Milk, Olive Oil, and Water).
Steps 1 & 2: Wash rice with water until the water becomes clear (this may take a few tries). Heat olive oil in a medium size saucepan over medium-high heat. Sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant.
Step 3: Add the rice and stir to evenly coat with olive oil.
Step 4: Next, add the water and coconut milk.
Steps 5 & 6: Turn the heat on high and bring the liquid to a rapid boil. Once the liquid begins to boil, immediately turn the heat to low and cover with a lid.
Let the rice simmer lidded for 20 minutes. Once the rice has fully cooked, remove from the heat and fluff with a fork. Let sit for an additional 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.

I tried this recipe. It was delicious. Just the right amount of coconut flavoring to let you know it’s there, but not overpowering. Best way to enjoy rice!!!
